There is a very simple reason why this doesn’t work. I have seen this piece previously and it is actually stunning – so the question is, why does it look like a dessert gone wrong in this picture? Quite simply it is because colours like pink need to be accent colours – they are there to add the ‘wow’ factor. When one attempts to overload on the ‘wow’ factor you end up with the ‘ouch’ factor! You have been warned!
