We often get clients who aren’t afraid of colour and most of our clients are well travelled if not international. So when we had a client come in and fearless look at jungle prints exclaiming that they felt like home we knew we were going to be having a lot of fun on this project. Colour palettes are drawn from the natural landscape: from the chalky, ochred desert plains and sun-bleached shimmering outcrops to the vibrant fresh greens of water-kissed rainforests and exotic colourings of native flora and fauna.
The overall aesthetic of the design is approachable and fun, just like the clients! And this wallcovering if the perfect place to start. It is going to add in some of the vibrancy to the design and will be the ideal backdrop that is fresh and unexpected.
I can’t help it, I adore this chair. It looks like heaven to be able to curl up in! The pattern is unapologetically jungle themed. How could you not have a huge smile on your face whilst curled up in this bad boy! It’s everything the client loves, playful, approachable and fun. We adore being able to work with clients who have just a clear idea of what they like. We channel that inspiration into an interior design style that works for them.
Go the whole hog with a sofa from House of Hackney. They are bold and they are beautiful. It’s been great to see this brand grow over the years and their designs continue to inspire. Especially when you are looking a a jungle based theme!
Thankfully jungle is popping up in all the right places. It’s everywhere you look on accessories and it makes sourcing for a project like this a ton of fun. Everything from teapots to monkey hanging lights.
Lighting is so important in a scheme and we love having fun with it. With lighting you can add in a playful element. These monkey lights are the perfect companion for a jungle scheme.
