Stylish Dining – outdoors!

As the spring very slowly approaches we start to turn our attention to all the things we would like to do ‘when it gets a little nicer’ – for me this is always entertaining! I love having people over and being able to cook for them, and living in the UK I have always loved the idea of having an outdoor seating and eating area. Here are a few that may actually work for home in the UK!!

This outdoor eating area could be used in the UK, it is easily secluded from the elements and would work fantastically in the winter with an overhead heater – imagine having Christmas dinner around that!

This is perfect for a London extension – the outside space is easily kept and can be used together with both areas on either side – I love it! Probably would need a bit more colour for me to be able to call it home though!

If it can work in NY it can work here! This gorgeous outside space is perfect for dining al fresco but would also be gorgeous to stare out at during a winter snow storm – I absolutely love it (P.S. It is Donna Karen’s apartment!)

Now believe it or not these next two pictures are actually in heart of East London! Yes Shoreditch house strikes again with a wonderful rooftop outside space. It really is gorgeous to sit out on and the heaters in the winter mean you can even sit out with a cocktail in the colder months – plus the pool is heated (of course!)

So here we are, some beautiful inspiration for outside areas that are just as beautifully designed as our gorgeous interiors!

These are just stunning Kia. I used to live in a gorgeous modern house where all the living space was open plan. The entire back of the house was made from huge retractable concertina patio doors, which could be completely opened up. In the summer this was amazing for entertaining but also for relaxing indoors with a nice summner breeze blowing through the house. I really miss having that connection between indoors and outdoors.
