The aim of interior design is twofold: it aims to transform your home into a place that reflects your own personal tastes and to relieve the stress that is associated with residential makeovers.

An interior designer is one-third artist, one-third business professional, and one-third circus ringmaster: an interior designer is more than just a pretty face with an eye for beauty. An interior designer will be a master of many arts including sketching, designing, arranging beautiful spaces, shopping for furniture and sourcing household accessories to coordinating with architects. On top of this an interior designer will coordinate electricians, plumbers, installers and delivery men and will insure that they complete each job to an optimum standard, as well as on budget.

Each project is unique and this is what motivates interior designers and quenches their artistic thirst! An interior designer realises that your home is a mix of different spaces, each with its own function, for example: a bedroom must relax, a study must stimulate, and kitchen must simply 'work' whilst looking great in doing so.

Upon appointment Kia will travel to see you at your premisesand spend some time investigating your requirements, discussing your personal situation and answering your questions about our services. Meetings in and around London are usually possible within a few days of enquiry. Kia runs a full interior design service incorporating every aspect of the design from conception to completion.

Kia Designs leaves no stone unturned to create your dream home. This is our complete interior design service and starts at £1,100 for the first room. For second and third rooms we offer a 20% discount and all rooms after that have a 30% discount.

We are different in how we set our fees, most interior designers will charge an hourly fee - this can result in very large bills especially considering most interior design jobs take a minimum of 20 hours and most interior designers charge around £95/hour. This would result in a minimum bill of £1900 (usually EXCLUDING VAT) - we like to be a little more clear and therefore we only charge per room and the fee is set at the very beginning of the project meaning that you don't have to worry that every time we "pop round" there will be another large bill in the post!
