Brief and Scope:

To decorate and furnish a recently purchased new-build 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom flat in the Waterman Gardens Development in North Greenwich. The flat will require complete furnishing throughout, in a classic, urban contemporary style. Added storage to keep mess at a minimum and make seasonal living more convenient. The living spaces will be designed for entertaining, with generous seating and well defined areas. The black and gold theme will be woven into the new palette, which will consist largely of neutral shades with highlights of moderate colour. The bedrooms will require furniture for both rooms, including a small desk in each with a dressing table in the master suite. Storage for seasonal attire will be provided under the beds, and the rooms dressed with bookshelves, art and a feature wall covering. Benches for resting suitcases will make shorter trips more ergonomic. A small electric safe will be discreetly added to each of the wardrobes. Basic storage for coats, boots etc will be added to the entrance hall, along with art and extra storage to create a welcoming space. The living room will accommodate a dining table capable of hosting up to 8 guests. A feature, adjustable, screen partition will divide and demarcate the dining from the lounge area. New pendant lighting will be introduced over the table to create a more layered look. A more informal but elegant lounge area will provide a great space for entertaining. The room will be carefully dressed with a variety of textures that will keep the look simple and sophisticated, whilst being aesthetically interesting. Concealed storage will keep the lines clean and the space feeling uncluttered
