I was in Tent Design show in Brick Lane back in September and one exhibit really caught my eye, as well as my imagination. Alex Randall’s lighting is the most imaginative I have ever seen: my favorite piece was a massive chandelier made our of saws. There is, no doubt, something horrific about her Designs: they are timeless and raw and evoke an emotional reaction. Now I just need a client who doesn’t think such lighting will scare away their guests …
