When we go to a client analysis meeting we always ask clients to bring pictures of anything that inspires them – however oblique they may be. The reasoning behind this is that we can often transpose a small detail from their random inspiration and use it within their home. A good example would be a person bringing a picture of a Church, not necessarily because they are religious but perhaps simply because they enjoy the atmosphere within such buildings:
From this bit of information we decided to use an arced mirror that resembles a Church window:
This mirror captures a small part of the atmosphere of a Church and still fitted in nicely with the overall Design!
