Just as a disclaimer, I am not am one of those Designers who feels that every practical device (such as a plug sockets) should be hidden as a matter of course. No home exists as an art exhibition – or a least it shouldn’t.
HOWEVER there are times when items like plug sockets need to be out of sight and this interesting picture is a good example. This odd display will not be to everyone’s taste but I really like its daring and uniqueness but it is somewhat ruined for me by the socket under the console unit. If one is trying to create something artistic that will enable the viewer to lose themselves it is vital the the illusion is not broken as it is in this case.
Does that socket drive you crazy or would it be something you could live with?
