Brief and scope
To redesign a three-bedroom mansion apartment and create a new home. The work focused on the living and dining room, the principal bedroom, a new principal en-suite and the spare bedroom, with redecoration in the hallway too.
Fresh neutral tones are mixed with touches of bolder, darker colour for interest. Greenery brings the rooms to life, using carefully chosen easy-care or faux plants rather than anything that needs too much looking after.

Meeting the brief
Living and dining
The lounge is all about comfort. The dining table seats six to eight, with two more seats at the bar.
Principal bedroom
The existing wardrobes were kept and updated with paint and new handles. New window dressings were fitted throughout.
Spare bedroom
Flexible enough to work as a small guest room, with more storage added, including a chest of drawers and a small dressing table.
Layers of light
Good lighting throughout, built up in layers so every room feels relaxed and comfortable.
Room for the art
Displays for the clients' own artwork and treasured pieces, with space left to keep collecting over time.
