As I’m sure everyone is aware at the moment there is a lot of information going around about coronavirus and steps that can be taken to delay the spread of it here in the UK.
With this in mind and the health of our staff at the forefront of our minds, we are moving all client and supplier meetings to google hangout (online video call) or phone calls. From today we will be taking no face to face meetings with clients or suppliers.
If you have a face to face meeting booked in your meeting will now be moved to a google hangout and you should receive a separate message about this today.
We will be continuing this policy for the next 4 weeks. If you have any questions please feel free to call the office and we will be happy to answer your questions.
15th March
As new developments on Covid-19 unfold, we wanted to update you on our current situation. As it stands we are open. We are hoping to be able to stay open throughout this time, although that does depend on our contractors and delivery companies remaining open too.
As of the 16th March all of our staff began working from home and will continue to do so until the 27th of April. We will be taking this under government advice. We are keeping updated on all our projects daily, but the situation is forever changing so we will try and update you and keep you posted as much as we can.

A message from Kia Stanford:
I hope you’re all keeping safe and well. With last nights lockdown announcement we are looking into what can be done with projects at the moment. This is a constantly updating situation and one that is out of all of our hands.
My main priority from the beginning of the outbreak has been the health of my staff and those we come into contact with be it suppliers, contractors and clients.
At the moment we are keeping things running with our entire team set up to work from home (hooray for us being able to do so!) however today we have been informed by many suppliers and our warehouse that they will be closing their doors today for the foreseeable future. Until they are able to safely open again we are left in limbo over how to move projects forward.
We are going to need to hold all deliveries into the warehouse for the meantime which may delay installing dates (if we have one in the diary for your project). It is also likely that our sites are to be closed soon. We here at Kia Designs will remain open and working for as long as we can be useful, however, there may come a time over the next few weeks were we close things up for a little while. Not something I would think we would ever have needed to do here at Kia Designs but I think it may be best to keep everyone safe and healthy.
We aren’t there yet but we are looking at it as a possibility if sites are fully closed down. We will be giving everyone an individual update on their own project towards the end of the week when we hopefully have more information.
From the 1st of April we will officially be putting a hold on all projects for the duration of the lockdown. All projects will be paused ready to pick up once the lockdown has been lifted. If there are any urgent queries please contact Kia on 07912138822
