Interior design in Clapham
Clapham interior design from first sketch to handover: how we redesigned the main rooms of a four-storey townhouse, and what we'd do for yours.
Stylish and clean, with a modern edge. The house had been refurbished recently, so the base was good, but parts of it were too traditional for the clients.
The ground floor is where they entertain, so it had to feel light and open, with an easy flow from front to back.
A bar area in the front reception links the kitchen and lounge, and the WC and coat storage were redesigned around clever storage and sleek textures.
More useful storage, a coffee area, and an en-suite reworked as a walk-in shower with real wow factor.
The study took in the bedroom next door to become a library with a sofa and TV, plus a desk set up for two screens.
A pared-back version of the same scheme, so guests are comfortable without the room feeling overdone.

Most of our Clapham work is in Victorian and Edwardian terraces around the commons. Many sit in conservation areas, and loft and rear extensions often need planning permission, so we check what's allowed before we design. We plan for all of this from the first meeting, so it doesn't hold up the build.
We've been designing London homes for 18 years. In that time, our bathrooms and kitchens have won national awards. The first conversation is free, and we can usually meet within a few days.
