The brief

Fun, bright and practical. The clients wanted a home that felt full of personality, with colour and pattern in every room.

The kitchen and living space had to work hard too: room to cook, eat and relax in one open space.

What we changed

Living room

Patterned wallpaper and vibrant furniture make the living room feel joyful rather than busy.

Kitchen

Colourful wallpaper, patterned curtains and a green built-in cabinet with a hidden coffee station.

Dining

Pastel chairs around the table give the dining area a soft, playful look.

Layout

Around the flat

London Bridge interior design: what to plan for

Most homes around London Bridge and Bankside are apartments in newer blocks and converted warehouses. Building managers usually set rules on working hours, lifts and deliveries, and some changes need the freeholder's sign-off. Our studio is on Tooley Street, so this is our own neighbourhood. We plan for all of this from the first meeting, so it doesn't hold up the job.
